Smarter Tuition Centre - logo design

This is the logo design that i created for

a tuition centre called "Smarter Tuition Centre".

This is a "free lance" job which is

really FREE.

This is because the owner of this tuition

centre was my tuition teacher and now,

he is a good friend of mine.

He asked me to help him design t-shirt

for his tuition centre and also,

i decided to re-design his

logo too... they're all for free.

Haha...

The concept of the logo is,

"power supply"

This is because the tuition centre keep supplying

knowledge for student so I put a light bulb

and plugged it into the logo.

I also think of a slogan for them which is

"We power up the students!"

So... critic me... for more enhancement.

final project studio progress

Here is my Final Project Studio's

progress. I'm doing a campaign

of recycle and reuse with my group mate - JC.

In this campaign, we wanted to change

people's mindset that rubbish are useless.

Rubbish is actually useful that we can

make some art craft out of it,

or reuse some paper or bottle.

In other hand, we also asking people to

recycle and they can earn money thru

this campaign. So, this is where

we came out with our concept-

"Guard your rubbish"

because rubbish can let you

earn money from doing recycle.

People

will just register an account in our website

and they can start their business.

People who have an account can collect

rubbish and call us to collect

the rubbish from them. We'll give them

bonus point depends on the weight of the

rubbish and they can change the

bonus point to cash when they want it.

So...here are the design of the website.

with military feel to match our concept and theme.

Did experiment on interface design

for my Digital Portfolio website.

I'm trying a new art style and

I created a character that portraits me.

This website is all about me...

So the character design is also

based on me and what I like.

So I use food as my design elements

because I like to eat...haha

Falling in love with Black&White

Started to fall in love with black & white photography
recently. I feel that sometimes pictures
look better in black & white and
sometimes, it has different feel.
Anyway, I want to share some of
my B&W photography work here...
most of them are from my china trip this year
and some of them are from hometown or
classmates. Enjoy!

Sound and Toys

Our Design Method 3 class had a field trip
to Petrosains at KLCC last Wednesday.
Our mission is to write a report about
the title we got after the trip.
My title is "Sound & Toys".
First, I'll talk about Sound since it's the
similar title with our project for Design Method 3.
For me, sound is to enhance and giving you
feelings when you look at something.
For example, when our trip started, we have
to sit in a ball shape machine and start to
watch the introduction of Petrosains.
In the introduction, they using sound like
jungle, birds, waterfall, etc...
to let us feel like we really in the environment
although we are only watching the projector
or screen. When we get into the exhibition part,
there were many things to try and play with.
In the exhibition, there are some
machine or computer that will
introduce about they thing that they
showing. People can know better about the
things they interested. I also found that
people can test on some of the item on displayed
and they will have sound effect when we try on it.
So, sound is to make people feel excited and interested
about something. It can attract peoples attention.
Next, I'm going to talk about Toys.
Actually i can't see much of toys in the exhibition.
The only toy i saw in the exhibition is LEGO/puzzle.
Kids can use the puzzle to create racing cars that they like
and they can put it on the "road" that prepared at the back and
start to "race". I even saw some of the secondary school
students play it and they are really happy with it.
It's good to have this kind of toy because it
can train peoples creativity and
people can try to create their own car.
Who knows, the little kid might become
a car designer after he grow up.

Well, this is my 3D modeling for

Just using white, black, and red color with

some patterns to decorate it.

 I'm BACK!!!

Yeah...i'm back to Sunway again, from

Sabah trip, from my hometown, Sarawak.

This is the longest holiday i

ever had...but it ends.

I went to work as a part timer

for the 1st time in this holiday.

I had my 1st trip with my

friends to Sabah, KK.

It's really a good experience working

as a part timer. I meet many different

people n do the things i never do before.

And it is very tired as I had to play

game with kids for the whole day

when I was working. But it is still

very fun for me.

Then, I went for a Sabah trip

with my friends. It is quite fun also,

having so many people

traveling together to Sabah.

We visited many places

in Sabah, KK.

I think the place they like the most

is the cow farm. It's very comfortable and

beautiful. It doesn't looks like

Malaysia at all...haha

Anyway, we've meet two new

friends at KK which is Sleve and Linkon

(if I didn't spell wrong)

Thanks to them because they brought

us to many nice places.

Pulau Ketam and Melacca trip

I went to Pulau Ketam yesterday(11/03)

for shooting. I always thinking to go

there for shooting because I heard from

people that Pulau Ketam is a nice

place for shooting.

After I went there, I found that

there is full of rubbish and

I can't find any interesting view or

things to shoot at.

Maybe is the weather because

it was a rainy day, and also

maybe is because my skill

is not good. Any way, we decided

to cycle around the place and

it is quite fun too.

At the next day of Pulau Ketam trip,

I went to Melacca for another

shooting trip with Travin, Cherly, Orilia, and Jason.

Melacca is really a nice place for

shooting. Many nice old buildings,

nice sky, and also nice peoples that

always tell us which place is nice

for shooting or which restaurant is nice

to eat. I really had fun in this trip but also

I felt very tired after I came back

to Sunway. Here are some shots that

Web Design Final progress + user testing/comment

This is my web design.

The website I redesign is www.aeiou.com.my.

a.e.i.o.u. is a company that sell

gift, gift box, wrapping paper...

The 1st page is only navigation button to

get into the web page.

It looks different than other pages because

I not yet code it in dreamweaver.

I'm going to add some rollover effects for the

navigation to make it more interesting.

So, my website is basically look like

the pictures below.

new laptop!!!

I just bought a new laptop for few days.

And, thanks to my mom and dad, I

got this MAC Book silver.

It's a good looking laptop

and also very user friendly.

It's different from windows.

I'm still learning to use it and I found

that it's quite easy to use.

I like it very much...

Now, i'm waiting my old Acer laptop

to be fixed and get all my important

files out. It's been almost 4 weeks already =.=

Portrait shooting for photography assignment

I shoot these photos for my

school's photography class assignment.

My model is Nick.

I tried 4 different lighting which is:

Natural sun light, light from window,

flash light + reflector, and fluorescent light.

Outdoor model shooting for final project

Went to shooting with Travin.

Gypsy is our model.

It's quite fun shooting portrait

at KL area.

I used these photos as my

photography class final

project's progress.

Seremban

Went to Seremban with my video group

few weeks ago.

We went there to research and see the place

that we going to shoot our video documentary.

We went to see this temple at Seremban

after we finish our researching.

This temple is really nice...
